Lorna offers a full range of practice nursing care and is Lead Nurse. Together with Dr Ahmad she runs the diabetes clinic at the practice. She also participates in the nurse triage service.

Caitlin provides practice nursing care and supports the nurse triage service and chronic disease clinics.

Jade provides practice nursing care and supports the nurses triage and chronic disease clinics.

Laura is our treatment room nurse and manages wounds and dressings. In addition, Laura will see new patients who register with the practice.

Joanna is our Advanced Nurse Practitioner. She is able to assess and manage a wide range of acute medical problems, icluding issuing prescription medication.

The nurses are responsible for well women and contraceptive advice, asthma and COPD clinics, blood pressure clinics, diabetic and heart disease clinics, and a travel vaccine clinic. They can offer advice on weight management, diet and many other health related issues including smoking cessation. Nursing appointments are available throughout the day from 9-5.30 - please phone to make an appointment.

A nurse is always available for advice over the telephone and as the initial point of contact for more urgent problems (triage nurse). Please phone on 01461 202745 and ask for the triage nurse. The receptionist will take your number and the nurse will call you back.

Ashley McNaughton is our Senior Health Care Assistant. She runs Blood Pressure clinics, routine height and weight measurement, new patient registration appointments and some Chronic Diease Management clinics.
